Sri Vivekananda Vidya Vikas Kendra, is a home for underprivileged children to facilitate education, who are susceptible to the vulnerable conditions of living on the street, irrespective of their religion or caste.
The home aims to educate children to train and transform them into skilled persons to live an independent life in the main stream of Society. The Home began with 13 children in the beginning and is now accommodating around 63 students. There are children studying in classes third to tenth, with about 15 students pursuing Diploma, vocational, and degree (B.Com and B.Sc.) courses. Among them, 3 candidates have secured positions as lab assistants in corporate hospitals.
The main objective of the trust is to give these children an opportunity in life that protects them from falling into the clutches of the darker side of society. Vivekandanda Vidya Vikas Kendra is recognised by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Telangana State.
On behalf of Vivekananda Vidya Vikas Kendra, we appeal to retired educationists to assist us in this noble cause by sparing their time in furthering the education of the children.
